The Role:
As a leader of our data warehouse team, some of the things you’d work on day-to-day include:
- Oversee Sojern’s data ingestion platform, a highly scalable, low latency system that cleans, enriches, and indexes over 100M events per day, from thousands of data sources around the world.
- As a player/coach for this team, you will split time doing both engineering and management
- Ensure the team follows good software development processes, specifically using an agile (scrum) methodology
- Ensure team members have career growth opportunities
- Work as an liaison with other teams to remove roadblocks and support the team as needed
- We’re looking for a Software Engineering Manager who can leverage their prior Ad Tech and engineering experience to take on and lead large projects, from inception to completion.
What you bring to the table:
- At least 3 years of team lead/management experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with at least 2 of the following: Golang, Python, React, Node, Javascript/Typescript
- Proficient in SQL: constructing tables, normalization/denormalization techniques
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes.
- Excellent grasp of CS fundamentals - data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Distributed Systems.
