Imagine a family like yours, only halfway around the world. Kids with big dreams and wide smiles. Dads who work hard to provide the best for their families. Moms who sacrifice everything for their kids to have a better life.
Now imagine they’re drinking dirty water.
Dirty water robs families of the future they deserve. Women and girls walk miles on dangerous journeys just for water. And the diseases lurking just beneath the surface—like cholera, typhoid, or bilharzia—threaten their lives.

Researchers at MIT used functional magnetic resonance imaging to study the brain activity of programmers as they process and comprehend different parts of a computer program. The study looked at brain activity as programmers processed specific elements of a program. The researchers found patterns of brain activity that corresponded to specific elements of code, such as loops, branches, and written descriptions of code. Code comprehension activates the multiple demand network, a system linked to general reasoning.
